Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Health Informatics Analyst -
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Perform exploratory data analysis and data mining of healthcare
claims and authorizations data
Design and develop financial, clinical, and utilization analyses
using tools like SQL and Excel
Coordinate and mentor analytic efforts to ensure project completion
according to plan
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Master's degree in a technical or analytic field (e.g., computer
science, statistics)
3+ years of transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle) experience
Experience with healthcare medical and pharmacy claims data
manipulation and analysis
Understanding of CPT and ICD-9 codes preferred
Experience with SAS, SPSS, or other data mining tools
