Mgr IT OperationsThe IT Operations Manager manages
infrastructure-related applications and platforms, with a primary
focus on Microsoft / Azure. Day to day, the incumbent will monitor
and manage the queue of work coming into the IT Operations team,
and effectively assign the work to internal team members or
external resources. The IT Operations Manager provides a secure and
stable end-user computing environment by managing the deployment,
monitoring, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft
infrastructure platforms and applications. The incumbent
effectively splits their time between managerial responsibilities
and hands-on technical work. The IT Operations Manager helps ensure
that end user computing platforms and applications operate smoothly
and optimize productivity for key users. The IT Operations Manager
assists the Information Security team with ensuring corporate
security policies are enforced on and by Company systems. The
incumbent keeps abreast of new technologies in deployment,
monitoring, and security arenas, and identifies and implements
technologies and processes that improve the reliability,
efficiency, and availability of the overall production
environment.What You Can Offer Us
- Ensure internal and external staff maintains problem resolution
data, problems are resolved within agreed upon service-level
guidelines, and consistent quality service is provided to
clients.
- Manage internal staff responsible for planning, implementation,
and technical support of production solutions.
- Ensure management is apprised of operational status and
implemented policies.
- Support and contribute to processes related to managed service
resources.
- Manage effective service-level expectations and
agreements.
- Work with the Internal Audit department to satisfy
Sarbanes-Oxley Act controls.
- Define and monitor multiple project priorities.
- Stay abreast of new technologies that can improve the speed and
reliability of the IT infrastructure.
- Plan projects and set performance goals to drive individual
performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the performance of Systems Engineers.
- Review staff through use of performance reports and provide
regular constructive performance feedback.
- Provide annual performance review and career development plan
for all members of the group, including preparing training programs
and skill enhancement plans.What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical
discipline, or at least 3 years of experience managing IT teams
responsible for Microsoft / Windows infrastructure required.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a technical team and
work queue.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying and supporting Windows
desktop operating systems and applications required.
- Experience supporting Microsoft focused infrastructure
applications (System Center/ SCCM, Active Directory, Azure Active
Directory, InTune, MDT, etc.) required.
- Management experience and experience as project leader or
senior member of successful project teams preferred.
- Strong project background and ability to manage multiple
projects and priorities required.
- Ability to foster teamwork and interdepartmental
communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage and perform hands-on work.
- Strong macro- and micro-level planning and goal-setting
skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust
and confidence in the group's knowledge of and concern for users'
needs.
- Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing
technology.
- Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Windows operating systems
and related products.
- Solid understanding of the Company's major lines of business
and ability to provide reliable, cost-effective operations and
production services needed to support its processing
requirements.
- Strong customer orientation, including the ability to establish
and develop a knowledge of and concern for users' needs in the
Windows computing department, thereby creating a high level of user
trust and confidence.
- Strong relationship-development skills resulting in long-term,
mutually beneficial client relationships.
- Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete
tasks and respond to requests and with others to utilize their
resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.
- Strong organization, planning, and project management skills;
ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements
and deadlines.

achieve results.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, high-volume
environment.
- Ability to identify key contacts for follow-up; excellent
ability to communicate project and status updates to team and
cross-functionally to ensure understanding.
- Good strategic and problem-solving skills to influence
