Responsibilities:We are looking for a highly organized and
detail-oriented Benefits Account Specialist to join our team. In
this role, you will be in a key role for managing Social Security
benefits related to child welfare programs. You will leverage your
expertise to support case workers and ensure accurate and efficient
handling of various benefit-related tasks.Social Security Advocacy
Management Services Overview:Within the organization PCG has a
project team dedicated to providing Supplemental Security Income
(SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)
representation and advocacy work for child welfare agencies
throughout the country. This project team is referred to as our
Social Security Advocacy Management Service SSAMS--- team. PCG is
dedicated to supporting child welfare programs and enhancing the
lives of foster youth through effective child-centered Social
Security benefit management.Overall Responsibilities:We are looking
for a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Account
Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be in a key
role for managing Social Security benefits related to child welfare
programs. You will leverage your expertise to support case workers
and ensure accurate and efficient handling of various
benefit-related tasks.Key Responsibilities: - Benefit Management:
Manage Social Security benefits for foster youth, including basic
accounting, reconciliations, and tracking of benefit information. -
Case Worker Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to case
workers on benefit-related matters. - Fund Requests: Review and
approve requests for funds on behalf of foster youth, ensuring
compliance with relevant policies and procedures. - ABLE Accounts:
Facilitate the opening and management of ABLE accounts to support
the financial needs of foster youth. - Communication: Send
notifications and statements to various stakeholders, ensuring
clarity and accuracy in all communications. - Detailed Tracking:
Maintain comprehensive and precise records of all benefit
activities and transactionRequired Skills: - Strong skills with
Word, Excel, and other Outlook Microsoft products - Professional
writing and verbal communication skills - Ability to trouble shoot
and problem solve - Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting
principles - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. -
Excellent organizational skills. - Ability to work in a team
environment that is focused on continuous improvement. - Ability to
recognize and maintain confidentiality of all materials in the work
settingRequired Experience: - An associate degree or 2 years
relevant experience. - Human Service or public sector background

filled.Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies
depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to,
the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of
experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the
following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $18.27 -
23.60 hourly. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for
this role.Compensation:Compensation for roles at Public Consulting
Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but
not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and
level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides
the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below.
